Sugarfree Banana Applesauce "brownies"
On a quest for sugarfree desserts, we found a recipe for brownies made with bananas and applesauce on the Delectably Free blog. My photo isn't as great as the one the original blog has, when we make them, they come out kind of looking like poops. The first time i ate it, i didn't hate it, but wasn't a fan. Then the next day, they tasted way better! The next time we made them, they came out better for some reason. Maybe the bananas were too ripe the first time? Although they're called brownies, it's more like a fudgey cake, best eaten with ice cream on top. If you use sugarfree ice cream, you've got a sugarfree dessert! Although, i've been hearing some conflicting things about agave nectar... We used butter, not buttery spread, because butter is better for you than chemically butter substitutes, and more importantly, tastes way better. Ever since i grew up, i've been a butter girl because as a kid, it was a special treat we could never afford. yum. anyway, check out the recipe here!
